On this particular project there was no brief from our client as we had established an association formed over several years. We know exactly what his tastes are: his only pointer was to make the result look as impressive as possible, yet comfortable and relaxing to live in.

When we first viewed the apartment all the interior architecture had been completed i.e. tiling/carpets, cabinetry, kitchen, bathrooms, and lighting plan. The overall signature within the shell was essentially contemporary, if stark, and being a holiday apartment we decided to go with the hi-tech feel. We elected to utilize the existing finishes yet opted to create a light, appealing and 'fun' atmosphere by selecting bright colours throughout, except in the main bedroom where calmer more soothing tones were used.
